Who are we?
Ken and Lisa Theriot are a "Voicey Award 2009" Nominated voice-over team team in San
Antonio, TX. Ken's voice has been described as smooth, engaging and pleasant. Lisa's voice
is an energetic warm alto. As actors though, they have a wide range of emotional voicings and accents for dramatic narrations. As musicians/songwriters and
singers (check us out at the Raven Boy
Music site) , they can also provide original music production. Ken
is now the regular narrator for the monthly e-learning podcasts at
Workplace English
Training e-Magazine.
Last summer, Ken and Lisa completed a project for
Librivox, producing an audio book of "The
Abbey Grange," from "The Return of Sherlock Holmes." Of that project was said:
"Ken Theriot recently posted about his spoken word recordings which are
available at librivox.org. I downloaded these and listened to them and I wanted
to say that this is absolutely top notch, professional work. Ken and Lisa do an
excellent job with the voices and the acting. Great work, Ken! If others
haven't listened to these, I highly recommend them."

Having done many years of "live"corporate training, they can both
provide engaging, dynamic and enthusiastic delivery for professional
presentations, on-line courses, or advertisements.
Both Lisa and Ken can authentically adopt
several ethnic accents such as various regional US and British (They lived for
many years in England), as well as multiple European and Asian accents. Lisa is
a linguistic researcher, and so can bring a wide variety of characterization to
the table.
They have owned and operated Raven Boy Music for 19 years. They are
song-writers, composers, guitar players, singers, and Ken is a recording
engineer. So they can also provide projects that require original music.
Additionally, Ken has done some fascinating work creating relaxation recordings
using binaural beats for brainwave entrainment. these can be used for
meditation, self-hypnosis, or to just block out all the sounds around you:).
